ABOUT US
For more than fifty years, Great Hope Baptist School has partnered with Christian families to provide a Christ-centered education that nurtures the heart, challenges the mind, and prepares students for the future. Founded in 1969, our school is committed to developing young people who love God, pursue academic excellence, and demonstrate Christlike character in every area of life.

Serving students from K3 through 12th grade, we combine strong academics, biblical truth, character training, athletics, and fine arts to cultivate well-rounded Christian leaders. Our dedicated faculty seeks to guide each student toward spiritual growth and personal success while fostering a lifelong commitment to serving the Lord.
At Great Hope Baptist School, we believe education is more than preparing students for a career—it is preparing them for a life of faithful service to God. Together with families and churches, we are training the next generation to stand firmly on God's Word and impact the world for Christ.

OUR HISTORY
For more than fifty years, Great Hope Baptist School has partnered with Christian families to provide a quality, Christ-centered education. Founded in 1969 as a ministry of Great Hope Baptist Church, the school was established with a clear purpose: to educate young people from a biblical worldview and prepare them to serve the Lord with their lives.
What began as a vision to train students academically and spiritually has grown into a thriving ministry serving children from K3 through 12th grade. Throughout the years, Great Hope Baptist School has remained committed to strong academics, Christian character development, and biblical truth. Since graduating its first senior class in 1976, the school has celebrated 159 graduates who have gone on to serve Christ in churches, ministries, communities, and careers around the world.
While much has changed since 1969, our mission remains the same—to develop students who grow in "wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man" (Luke 2:52) and to prepare them to be faithful Soldiers for Jesus Christ.

SCHOOL
OBJECTIVES
Over the years, Great Hope Baptist School has focused on these objectives, which provide a mission for this institution:

-
To teach that the Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that His death and resurrection provide forgiveness of sin and new life through faith in Him.
-
To teach that the Bible is the Word of God and to help the student appreciate and accept its practical use and importance.
-
To teach the student the fundamentals of God's creation, including language arts, geography, mathematics, history, science, fine arts, health, and the Bible from a Christ-centered viewpoint. The ultimate goal is that he will develop to the glory of God spiritually, emotionally, social mentally, and physically-not in his natural energy, but through new life in Christ.
-
To teach our students to yield themselves completely to God in submission and obedience to His will as revealed in the Bible.
-
To teach that progress in Christian living is dependent upon fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ through prayer, service, and reading upon the Word of God.
-
To teach and apply spiritual principles in the disciplining of the student.
-
To teach the students to work both independently and cooperatively while they learn to think and to responsibly apply Biblical principles in any situation.
-
To stimulate the appreciation of and desire for wholesome recreation.
-
To teach and develop in our students the proper attitudes, ideals, habits, knowledge, and skills which are necessary preparations for life.
-
To give the student the kind of experience that will help him face life with courage and understanding, and to help him experience a living faith in God that will make him a credit not only to Christ, but also his community, his nation, and himself.
